I am a board-certified radiologist with over 27 years of experience. I have been licensed in California since 2011 and have served as Off-Site Supervisor for more than 5 years.
I have experience in academic radiology having served as Associate Professor in Clinical Radiology at the University of Miami. I have worked in private practice as well as a teleradiology settings and I am currently working with Experity. At Experity, I work as a clinical radiologist as well as the Clinical Director of Quality Management.
The role of the California Off-Site Xray Supervisor is to provide state mandated regulatory compliance consulting (administrative) services to help assure compliance with the California Radiation Control Regulations and the Health and Safety Code. The Off-Site Xray Supervisor is responsible for the review of standing orders, repeat film policies, film quality, radiation safety, and technical aspects of all X-ray examinations. The Off-Site X-ray supervisor will be available by telephone or email for consultation with the diagnostic radiologic technologists who perform radiographic examinations. The Xray Supervisor is also the liaison between the practice site and the California Department of Public Health Radiologic Health Branch Inspectors.
I am very familiar with the requirements of the CDPH and using up-to-date documentation, Policy and procedure manual review focusing on state requirements, and using easy to follow checklists, I can help provide substantial assistance with maintaining compliance with state mandates. I offer these services at an extremely reasonable rate.
